Terms of Service — AI Together

1. Acceptance

By using AI Together you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

• You are 13 or older.
• You use the app for personal purposes only — not commercial.
• You are responsible for keeping your device PIN safe.

3. Permitted use

• Messaging trusted people you've paired with (via PIN).
• Sharing your activity with them (optional).
• Recovering your account via consenting trustees (E15).

4. Prohibited use

• ❌ Harassment, abuse, or threats against any person.
• ❌ Sexually explicit content, violence, or material targeting children.
• ❌ Attacks on the app or server (PIN brute-force, exploits).
• ❌ Impersonation.
• ❌ Misuse of the Nudge / Critical Alert feature.
• ❌ Commercial or advertising use.

Violations lead to account suspension without prior notice.

5. Your content

• You own your content. We don't own it, sell it, or use it to train AI models.
• We store it temporarily for delivery (max 24h for messages).
• You can delete any content any time.

6. Pairing & relationships

• Pairing requires both parties to exchange PINs.
• Either party can unpair at any time without reason.
• After unpairing, chats are deleted from both devices within 24h.

7. Sensitive features

• Live location: optional, always toggleable.
• Activity Awareness: optional, with granular controls.
• Hidden chats: local-only on your device, Face ID to reveal.
• Account recovery: requires two trustees + 24-hour delay.
• QR Export: 5-min single-use transfer.

8. Suspension & termination

• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate §4.
• You can delete your account any time via Settings > Delete account.
• After deletion: 7-day backup window in case you change your mind, then permanent purge.

9. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We do our best, but:

• No guarantee of message recovery if you lose your device without backup (E14/E15).
• We are not liable for decisions you make based on app content.
• Maximum liability = what you paid (currently free, so = 0).

10. Nudge (Critical Alert) feature

Nudge breaks through your partner's silent/DND mode. By using it you agree:

• This feature is for genuine emergencies only (medical, safety, family).
• Misuse (intentional annoyance) → feature revoked.
• Rate-limited: max 1 per hour per partner.

12. Changes to these Terms

Material changes are announced in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the change = acceptance.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Disputes resolved amicably first, then via Riyadh courts if needed.
• The Arabic version is the authoritative reference.
